This Privacy Policy explains how CustomWorks Studio, Inc., doing business as Oscar Headshots and Oscar Photo (together, "CustomWorks Studio", "we", "us" or "our"), collects, uses, shares and protects personal information. Oscar Headshots and Oscar Photo are registered trade names (DBAs) of CustomWorks Studio, Inc. and are not separate companies. This policy applies to oscarheadshots.com, our contact and booking forms, our photography services and our text message (SMS) program.

Information We Collect

Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, company name, the type of photography you are interested in, your preferred session times, and any message you send us through our forms, by email, by phone or by text.

Booking and payment information: session details and payment records. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.

Information collected automatically: when you visit the Site we record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, the website or ad that referred you, and the date and time of your visit. We use this to run the Site, to protect it against spam and abuse, and to understand how visitors use it.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to respond to your inquiries, prepare quotes, schedule and confirm sessions, send reminders, deliver your photographs, process payments, provide customer support, improve the Site and our services, protect against spam and fraud, and meet legal obligations. Before or at the time we collect personal information, we identify the purpose for which it is collected, and we only use it for those purposes or other legitimate purposes, unless you consent or the law requires otherwise.

Text Messages (SMS)

If you opt in to text messages, we use your mobile number to send you messages about your inquiry, booking and session. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or booking.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except with the service providers that deliver our messages (such as our SMS provider, Twilio). Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your visit and to measure how the Site is used. We use Microsoft Clarity to see how visitors use our website, and advertising and analytics tools from Google and Microsoft (Bing) to measure the results of our ads. These providers may collect information about your visit under their own privacy policies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the Site may then work differently.

How We Share Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run our business, such as payment processing (Stripe), text messaging and phone services (Twilio), email, calendar and scheduling tools, website hosting, and analytics, and only so they can perform those services for us. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a sale or reorganization of our business.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above, including keeping records of sessions and payments as required for tax and accounting purposes.

We protect personal information with security measures designed to prevent loss or theft, and unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or alteration. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and to keep it accurate, complete and up to date.

Your Choices and Rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, by emailing or calling us using the details below. You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. We will respond to your request within a reasonable time.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 online. Sessions for minors are booked by a parent or guardian.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
